disengagement

We think we have been disangaged.
We think we're independent.

We're not.

We are as much part of Nature's web of life as we are sure we exist. To think otherwise would lead to a destructive relationship between humans and nature, a relationship that is going to be toxic, unpleasant, unhealthy, unsustainable and short-termed. (Given that the earth will still be here, humans will be the ones terminated first.)

Oh, wait..
